Duties herewith include: Rigging Engineering: o Manage the output, quantity, quality and accuracy of CAD / Rigging Studies o Liaising with fabricators and erectors on lifting attachment details o Develop and draw all required rigging studies for all types of lifting activities o Manage workflow and quality of Drawing to Project priority List o Liaise with OEM's on crane specifications o Support of projects and sales teams Reporting: o Generate a weakly status report on rigging studies Risk: o Checking rigging studies to ensure it corresponds with construction changes o Capturing and logging of any site alterations and amend drawings accordingly o Ensure that all drawings are in line with relevant standards and accepted drafting principles o Compile risk assessment Governance: o Must report all deviations from the scope of work timeously in writing to the line manager o Ensure that changes to rigging studies carried out are communicated to relevant managers accordingly Minimum Requirements: A relevant National CAD Diploma. Minimum N4/ N5 with engineering background. Minimum six years' drafting experience with AutoCAD (Up to Release 13). Experience with planning packages such as Lift Planner. Minimum three years' experience in preparation of rigging studies in 3D. Previous experience with crane selection and configuration. Good understanding of Crane Capacity Charts.
