An opening has arisen for a Surgical Assistant to be based in the Cape to support clients Reconstruction Divisions Prerequisites Education Matriculation Registered nurse an added advantage Experience: Proven Experience in theatre Theatre nurse an advantage Sales Experience would be preferred The Surgical Assistant will assist in the development of Reconstruction by: Covering cases as required in theatre Providing 24/7 Key Customer Service and support to surgeons Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers Getting information – observing, receiving and obtaining information from all relevant sources Inspecting equipment and material to identify the cause of or potential errors, problems or defects Updating and using relevant knowledge, keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to the job Successful candidate will: Provide technical assistance to surgeons and theatre nurses Ensuring correct instruments and supplies are ready and available to surgeons or surgeons assistants as required prior to theatre Competently do a surgical scrub of hands Wash company equipment using germicides Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures Works closely with the Sales Reps to ensure that target is achieved each Period
