This house comprises a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms- 2 double and one with 2 single beds, lounge with DSTV (Hotel Bouquet), dining room and double garage. There is a BBQ on the verandah, and a sea view. The minimum stay is two nights, and there is a refundable breakage deposit of R2500 and a outgoing cleaning fee of R 450. Arthur Youldon’s daughter, Betty, gave her name to Betty’s Bay.  Italian prisoners of war during the Second World War did construction and worked on the road from Gordons Bay.  During the War Cape Hangklip assumed strategic military importance as a sentinel guarding the Eastern Shore of False Bay from the lurking menace of the U-boats..   At present Betty’s Bay and surrounding towns of Kleinmond  Rooiels and Pringle Bay are growing at a phenomenal rate as not only retired people settle here, but new and varied businesses are established as well light industries, especially in the building trade.  Betty’s Bay stretches between ocean and mountain for 13 kilometres, has no street lights, mostly gravel roads and numerous green belts allow for small wild life to multiply and roam free.   Star gazing if one of the most awesome past times to be had when night falls.  Two beaches  allow   for long leisurely strolls on seemingly endless  stretches of soft sand whilst Draadbaai can keep keen divers and fishermen busy for hours.  The Penquin colony is another memorable site to visit. All 3 the Studios have separate entrances and each offers something different. One has a partial sea view, the Garden Studio has its own garden with bbq and the Twin Studio (2 single beds) has a covered, large and sunny balcony. All prices are based on two people sharing.
