TWO very LOVABLE GERMAN SHEPHERD DOGS male 3 years and female 2 years for a very kind and loving home the owner will be moving and can not take them with. Excellent watch dogs, but they do need attention as well. They also cat friendly as the owner has 2 cats. Some one who has no time will not be considerate as these dogs does needs brushing, pillows to be shaken out and aired when its a warm day, also the dogs needs a bath once a month etc. I need a kind and loving home for them. We are looking for a new home for Obito (8 months old, brown) and Mungo (1 year old, black). Mungo comes from the Africanis Society in KZN and Obito from Darg (so he will need to be sterilized within the next year at Dargs cost - that is their policy). Both dogs are male, extremely active and always surprise me with their intelligence. So they will need a home that will be able to provide for their physical and mental needs. Both know very basic training (sit, stay, come, etc). Both are also up to date with all their vaccinations/deworming/defleaing. We unfortunately cannot keep the dogs for personal reasons (I'll be happy to elaborate to potential new owners). I would like to be sure they will be able to provide for the dogs needs (obviously, because if they go to the wrong home they will very likely be given up again which will be very unfortunate). Edit Pets Country Lodge we welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes! WE CHARGE PER KENNEL AND NOT PER DOG!!! With only 36 regular sized kennels and 4 extra large kennels, we have a hand on approach. Our kennels have a in closed sleeping area, and a small run, but with large enclosed gardens. Dogs spend most of their days running around and playing ball. Social dogs will be let out in play groups. Unsocialized dogs will have play time with a person throwing the ball. Laps are available for the "littles" to sit on. We can also cater for the disabled. We encourage owners to bring their dogs own bed or bedding, as it helps them feel at home! We provide food, unless the owner would prefer that their dogs diet not be interupted, in which case we are happy to feed the owner of the dog provides. We believe that the time in the kennels should be as much of a holiday for your dogs, as your holiday is for you.

Smudge was raised with her two brothers in someone's back yard after their mother gave birth to them. They were rescued with their mommy and are all in safe foster home now. Smudge loves to purr and cuddle on her foster dad's chest. She is being fostered in a home where there are dogs and she is slowly getting used to them. She loves to play and will run up and down the scratch post with her kitten friends. She loves to explore too and is a very loving kitten. When you pick her up she becomes like a baby and you can cuddle her easily. She was scared when she was just rescued but now she is getting used to daily life inside a house more and enjoying it. She is also slowly getting use to dogs and she loves playing with feather toys and licking your fingers. Smudge is in Bellville and 11 weeks old.
