I am selling my 5'6" DUMPSTER DIVER surfboard by Al Merrick for R. Perfect for a grom! My reason for selling is that I am too tall (186cm) to surf this board. I surfed it a few times and it was great fun but recently it has just been sitting around in my house as i acquired another surfboard that suits my length a lot more.  I am looking for someone who is keen to experience the great fun that this revolutionary surfboard design brings to the infamously small waves we get in the Bay. Channel Island - Al Merrick Average Joe Surfboard Height - 5ft 7', Width - 21 3/8', Rail - 2 1/2", Volume - 34l. Virtually brand new, honestly I have only surfed it 13 times. The board doesn't suit my style of surfing. Its a great board for the summer months and quite versatile for a small wave board. You can ride it in head height surf but when its hollow even in smaller surf it can struggle to dig its rail into the wave. This board is more suited towards cruising than ripping. I had it custom specced with the help of Jason Ribbink to try and turn into a hybrid of cruising and ripping but didn't quite work out. I would say it would make a great board for a weekend warrior or someone that wants a small wave board in there arsenal that is more geared for cruising. These boards are now going for over R8000 new now so its not cheap by any stretch. This is a premium board. I am happy to let you surf the board before you make a definite decision but you will need to supply your own fins as I only have Future fins now and my average joe takes FCS 2's or 1's.
