PROPOSALS ENGINEER. IN SOUTH AFRICA

My client requires a Proposals Engineer to: *Cost effectively do proposals and project estimates in order to meet Sales Budget and PBIT for the Department. *Review customers specifications and commercial conditions *Select and design appropriate equipment to meet customers’ needs. *Conceptual designs for non-standard applications. *Prepare proposals, follow-up tenders, prepare and issued confirmation orders.  *Develop and maintain a document automation system for tendering and estimating.  *Maintaining and updating costing for standard products and ancillary equipment.   *B.Sc/B.Eng Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)    *Mechanical Design – exposure to a boiler and environmental engineering environment would be advantageous *Industrial experience in Manufacturing, Drawing Office, Sales or Projects *Tendering with experience with industry standard commercial documents. *Computer literate especially MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint  and SharePoint.   Please forward your C.V asap.   Kind Regards Graham
