PRODUCTION PLANNER IN SOUTH AFRICA

A very good opportunity for a young and energetic person who is willing to work in a fast growing business in the printing industry. Requirements: -          Must have matric -          Tertiary education in production / operations will be an advantage -          Must be computer literate and competent on MS Office -          Fluent in English and Afrikaans -          Must have own reliable transport -          Be willing and able to work in a high pressure environment Responsibilities: -          Receiving orders and putting them into the production schedule -          Planning the production schedule daily, for printing, laminating, cutting and manufacturing to meet shipping dates. -          Organising paperwork for production -          Calculating the amount and type of materials needed for orders -          Updating the stock sheet daily for all materials in stock -          Ordering / buying material when needed (good and close relationship with suppliers) -          Daily upkeep of production status sheet of all the orders in the system -          Liaising with couriers for transportation of orders Salary will start with R, negotiable upon experience.
