POST PRODUCTION MANAGER IN SOUTH AFRICA

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES   Grow the annuity business of Services & Maintenance: Negotiate and agree SLA’s with clients; and Source and appoint sufficient, suitable employees to service the agreed SLA’s. Managing the Services & Maintenance department: Assist with higher level service work; Attend to service calls, allocate suitable resources to the work and fault find problems (where needed); Increase average billable hours of all technicians (excluding manager) to at least 75%. Manage the documentation flow for sites and vessels. Managing installations at/on clients’ sites or vessels: Manage clients’ expectations from communication of intended start date to completion of installation and handover to commissioning team/s; Attend Scoping Meetings of all sites or vessels where installations would be done; and Daily written feedback to clients, MD and Operations Manager. Managing the commissioning of installed systems: Assist with preparation and commissioning of projects; and Manage the commissioning teams to ensure that quality control measures are followed. And any other tasks necessary for the conduct of the employer's business, as the employer may from time to time direct. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from a reputable technicon or university At least 5 years’ experience in refrigeration (industrial and/or marine would be advantageous), of which at least 3 must be at managerial level Good communication skills, both orally and written
