PERFORMANCE MEDIA PRODUCT UNIT DIRECTOR IN SOUTH AFRICA

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: As the Performance Media Product Unit Director you will be responsible for driving digital product and service standards and principles while guiding the product specialists to ensure clients are provided with world-class digital solution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist Brand Unit Directors in identifying type and number of product specialists needed to service clients effectively - Work with Brand Unit Directors and HR to recruit the right talent - Define product & service standards and principles in which to perform in order to achieve highest quality outputs (e.g. create frameworks and define processes) - Work with existing brand teams and Brand Unit Directors s and provide strategic input - Oversee quality of service delivery by produce specialists in terms of effectiveness and client satisfaction - Grow and develop product specialists in their respective specialist area - Continuously perform research and trend analysis and watch the market for new product opportunities within relevant field (e.g. SEO; PPC etc.) - Implement new products or product adoptions - Share trends with organisation on a regular basis - Liaise and work with global partners where needed - Define value proposition and drive understanding of it within organisation - Provide strategic input for pitches and in new business development - Attend & speak at conferences and develop a public presence in order to increase local reputation - Work with Marketing/PR to promote product/service suite - Work with global team around new product/service offerings and ensure adoption in local market IDEAL REQUIREMENTS: - Comprehensive understanding of digital product & service suite relating to product role - Matric/ high school senior certificate is required - Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage - Ability to perform trend & competitors analysis - Ability to analyse and interpret research data - Strategic & conceptual thinking - Solution oriented thinking - Facilitation of meetings & workshops - Excellent presentation & public speaking skills Key Personal Inherent Characteristics: - Effective communication across all levels - internal and external - Numerate and analytical - Project Management - People Management - Performance Management - Highly developed ability in Negotiation - Can manage change in a fast paced industry - Drive high-performance culture through efficiency How to Apply If you are interested in this role, please apply with your CV: MPC CAPE TOWN BRANCH – Heine Bunge Please indicate the reference number: HB30677
