PART-TIME, TEMPORARY ENGLISH TEACHING IN PORT ELIZABETH

A Port Elizabeth language school is looking for part-time English teachers for short-term, seasonal teaching. Requirements: · TEFL/TESOL English Language Teaching certification which MUST include 120 hours of face-to-face contact training time, a minimum of 6 hours of assessed teaching practice (verifiable) and be delivered by an institution with a reputation for excellence in the English Language Teaching and the TEFL training sectors. An appropriate three-year tertiary qualification; A minimum of two years’ experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language to adults; Experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language to multilingual groups at a range of proficiency levels; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Reliability, personal accountability and commitment; Professional presentation; Be willing to teach a 45-minute demo lesson.
