The Black Pearl Cottage is a newly furbished 2 bedroom self-catering cottage on the 240 hectares Rhenosterkop Farm on the slopes of Paarl Mountain only 7 km from Paarl. Make this your base to explore the Cape and winelands! The Cottage is fully equipped for self-catering and sleeps 4 persons in 2 bedrooms -- 1 double bed with en suite bathroom and the other 2 single beds with bathroom next door with bathtub and shower. It also offers and open plan kitchen and living area, stoep with braai and amazing sunsets. No TV or internet. Swimming pool 100 metres away at main farmstead The farm is on the Western slopes of Paarl Mountain and offers mountain biking, hiking, a flower reserve and a braai and picnic area Hiking Trails Neighbours on one side offer horse riding and you can head the other direction to hike up a dirt road to the top of Paarl Mountain. For the more adventurous you can hike the fire-breaks on the farm. Other Activities Less than 5 kms away are Spice Route with its brewery, glass blowing, restaurants, chocolate tasting, wine tasting, and Fairview with wine and cheese tasting and the Goatshed Restaurant. Within 10 kms are dozens of wine estates including the famous KWV, Chimp Haven, Lion Park and Butterfly World. We are on the Western slopes of Paarl Mountain which has mountain biking, hiking, flower reserve and a braai and picnic area.
