Targeting digital marketing portals and targeted closed user groups to ensure revenue growth of Village & Life’s branded products and direct market segment, including niche market or property through closed user and focus groups. Flexible Hours for someone who prefers to work from home CANDIDATE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: · Grade 12 or equivalent · Accommodation Certificate/ Hotel School diploma is advantageous Work experience: · Previous experience in the same or similar position in a 4/5 star hotel · Familiar with all duties and procedures in Sales driven Environment · MS Office (Word, Excel and Email) is essential · Opera experience is advantageous Other: · Sales orientated · Reliable, responsible and dependable to fulfil obligations · Able to manage time successfully in order to complete tasks · Admin Orientated · Proactive · Excellent selling techniques · Attention to detail · Show initiative by taking control of task · Excellent communication skills · Friendly and service orientated Tasks (include but not limited to): · Manage, update and monitor Digital portals · Assist with enhancement of branded portals online presence. · Targeting of:Closed user groups within our demographical target areas · Aggressive selling for all special events · Report and offer feedback on a regular basis · Achieve allocated monthly revenue targets · Maintain high conversion and accommodation yielding · Regular competitor and market analysis regarding rates, USP’s and performance · Optimum management for medium & short lead bookings CLOSING DATE: 17h00 on Friday 25 March 2016 To apply for the position, please send an updated CV with a picture of yourself
