A vacancy of Occupational Health Nurse is available around the Parktown - Rosebank area WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS: Registered Nurse with S.A.N.C as a General Nurse Clinical teaching experience Computer literacy Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety OR Registered Nurse with Occupational Health and Safety Experience or training will be essential Assessor and Nursing education will be advantageous KEY WORK OUTPUT AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Adhering to the Occupational Health and safety Act No 85 of and relevant Netcare Policies Development and management of an Occupational Health Programme Appointing SHE Representatives and chairing SHE meetings Facilitation of training for SHE Representatives Management of Health questionnaires as per Netcare Policy Coordination of medical surveillance as per Netcare Policy Health promotion through health education and counselling as well as immunization programmes. Coordination of injuries on duty as per the Compensation of Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act No 130 of Disaster Preparedness Liaison with outside agencies / resources Environmental monitoring, safety and risk/hazard management Implementing quality improvement programmes Coordination of non-risk waste Monthly reports and statistics Ad-hoc duties as necessary Being responsible for assisting with education and training of learners and administrative processes involved in nursing education and training, including facilitated practical activities To apply, kindly forward your CV to apply(at)medipath.co.za or you can call for more information.
