Nektar Panorama P1 DAW MIDI Controller with deep integration for Cubase and Reason.The P1 comprises the knobs, faders and transport section found on the P4 and P6 controller keyboards, giving you tactile hands-on control over your mix in a compact package. Nektar's deep ability to control instrument and device parameters allows the user to dig in using physical controllers and intuitive software navigation via the full colour TFT screen. Focussing on a mouse-less workflow, the P1 uses a powerful, yet simple menu structure and parameter mapping system, putting an enhanced creative workflow literally at your fingertips.When paired with Cubase or Reason, the Nektar P1 intelligently assigns knobs and faders for plugin control, automatically reconfiguring itself depending on whether the mixer, instrument or transport mode is selected. When in mixer mode, the P1 offers complete control over the functions of the mixer such as level and panning as well as EQ, dynamics, inserts and aux sends. Instrument mode allows control of the parameters of VSTi's and Reason Devices that is quick, simple and intuitive. When the P1 is in transport mode, the TFT screen gives a clear reading of song position, left and right locators and tempo. The 11 button transport bar includes Return to l, Forward to R, Undo, Click on/off, Record Mode, Cycle on/off, Back, Forward, Stop, Play and Record.The Nektar P1 also features an innovative QWERTY macro support, enabling up to 8 keystroke commands assigned to one button on the controller itself, offering a massive workflow enhancement to DAW function shortcuts via the 11 F-Keys or any assignable button.
