European agency with a wealth of big name clients are looking for 2.NET developers to join their newly established Cape Town team. You’d be working in conjunction with their team abroad on some very interesting CRM platforms etc. A pretty comprehensive description of the role can be seen below. As a.NET developer, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the elaboration of a CRM platform specifically developed for one of our banking customers. The platform is an important part of multiple direct banks in multiple countries. This platform consists of a marketing database communicating through different interfaces with the banking backend (through XML), campaign management tool (through SQL views), Business Objects (SQL Views), the call center application (XML) and the website of the bank (web services). You job will be an interesting mix of delivering technical & functional support (2nd & 3rd line), and improving and growing the platform in bi-monthly releases. You will be involved in the technical roadmap of the platform, and will frequently be in touch with the client to discuss & define functionality (functional analysis). You will be part of a team of developers abroad and work on our client within an international context. Complementary to this, you will be part of our web development team developing a broad range of web applications. Requirements  .NET, C# (with a focus on correct software design, OO principles, performance) nHibernate (or equivalent DAL) Profound knowledge of T-SQL & query optimization ASP.NET, MVC 3.0, LINQ, JQuery, Entity Framework 2 to 3 years development experience Personal Skills/Attributes You have a quick mind, take initiative without being told to do so, you take your responsibilities seriously and are an able communicator. You see the 2nd & 3rd line support not as a burden, but you make it your personal quest to provide the right solutions to clients. You are able to translate daily issues to solutions that improve the overall quality of the platform. You are capable of working in a team that is lead by a PM (scrum-master) and a software architect.
