MEDICAL OFFICER IN SOUTH AFRICA

Medical Officer Soweto One of Africa’s leading research centers, that engages in research, training, policy-formulation and advocacy concerning HIV-positive people and their children is currently looking for a dynamic and driven Medical Officer based in Soweto. The incumbent will provide comprehensive medical care/clinical support to patients enrolled in treatment and prevention programs and to participants enrolled into clinical trials at the unit. Support the mobile TB services and be responsible for reading X-rays for adults and Children. Education, Training and Experience MBChB MPS registration HPCSA registration · At least two-year’s experience in patient treatment (Can be inclusive of internship/community service time) · Excellent clinical skills · Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification · Experience in treating HIV · Prior experience in a research environment will be advantageous. · Empathy and understanding of people living with HIV/AIDS · Experience as a sub-investigator in a clinical trial · Computer literacy Key performance areas · Provision of clinical care to patients and participants · Accurate and comprehensive medical record keeping · Management of patient/participant flow in the clinic · Clinical trial oversight or management as designated by the Principal investigator · Participation in all phases/components of the research process · Data management excellence To apply please could you upload & register your CV www.smplacements.co.za Alternatively you can e-mail your Complete CV with duties, Salary Slip to healthcare@smplacements.co.za Only short listed applicants will be contacted.
