MECHANICAL / PROJECT ENGINEER (MUST A NAMIBIAN CITIZEN) IN SOUTH AFRICA
Mechanical / Project Engineer needed for a Namibian Project. Our Client is a world leader in the development and implementation of customised and innovative solutions for modular mineral processing plants, shallow water mining, walking jack-up platforms and dredging. They not only offer their technology to diamond, gold and heavy mineral sands mining, but is able to offer process and design development and implementation services to any mining operation anywhere in the Namibia. The Project Engineer’s role is the direction and co-ordination of all technical aspects of the project, in particular the delivery of the specifications, designs, drawings, document compilation and associated site-work activities. Candidates must be a Namibian Citizen. BSc or BTech – Mechanical Engineering qualification required 8 years’ experience in a EPCM environment, with at least 3 years at senior level, preferably in mining and minerals processing. Project management and project execution experience is advantageous. Registration as a Professional Engineer would be advantageous.
