IT SUPPORT ENGINEER (TIER 1) IN SOUTH AFRICA

We are looking for a junior IT Support Engineer (Tier 1) to join our clients existing support team. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to be part of a successful team. The salary being offered is between R 8,000 to R 12,000 per month (Negotiable). Responsibilities: •Assist with all technical issues / request which include: •Setting up new computers •Cloning hard drives •Setting up email accounts: Pop/Imap/Exchange 2010/2013. •Install and configure Operating systems •Install and configure printers: local and network •Install and configure Antivirus software. •Deliver and collect computer components from suppliers/clients •Install and configure UPS •Install and manage ADSL/LTE and Fiber CPE devices •Administer Username and Passwords via Active Directory or Cloud Panels •Install and configure wireless equipment •Install and configure backup software •Maintain backups, schedule backup restore to ensure data integrity. •Must be hard working and willing to learn. Will be required to do after hour support on a rotational schedule between engineers. Qualifications and Experience: •Minimum 2 years in a similar position •Qualifications in MCSE/MCITP/MCP •Microsoft Server 2008 – 2012. •A+ •N+ •Passion for all things technical •Fluent in English •Good communication skills bot written and verbal Personality: •Doers: we are looking for those individuals who aren’t afraid of some hard work and who can be relied upon to get the job done. •Team-players: we want people who are enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to be part of a successful team. •Self-starters: we want some creativity, some independence, and some ambition to think outside the box in order to get the right results.
