INSTALLATION / MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN IN SOUTH AFRICA

A prominent electrical contractor operating in the greater Cape Town area is seeking suitably qualified construction electricians to join their maintenance department. JOB DESCRIPTION a) Fault finding on Domestic and Commercial Maintenance – 24hr call out b) COC – compiling reports and issuing of Certificate of Compliance c) Measuring up for estimates for electrical installations d) Carrying out of Alterations and Repairs e) Repairs of air cons/fridges/plugs/geysers/stoves - advantageous f) Completion of job cards and report writing g) Completion of customer care schedules h) Motivate and train an assistant i) Restocking of materials j) Completion of time sheets APPLICANTS WILL MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS a) Meets job description specs b) Full personal details (copy of curriculum vitae) c) School qualifications d) Further education (diploma, degree or certificate) e) Detailed work experience without year gaps. f) At least three referrals with names and contact numbers g) Certified copies of all certificates and ID document. h) Security Clearance and Credit check i) Experience in electrical inspections on commercial and industrial properties j) Desire to learn and acquire new skills – electronic security installations and building automation k) Must possess a full set of tools, including testing equipment l) Must possess a copy of the latest wiring regulations [SANS 10142]
