This leading global Supply Chain Solutions organisation (employing people worldwide) is looking to appoint a degree-qualified Industrial Engineer (Continuous Improvement) to analyse, validate, motivate and implement business optimization and improvement initiatives across all areas and functions within the contract logistics & distribution division of the business. Key responsibilities will include: Data analys Data modelling Data manipulation Distribution network analysis Distribution network optimization Supply chain network consulting Supply chain network design Project management Process mapping Warehouse space optimization Cross-dock facility optimization Material flow improvement Tender costing and modelling Analyze and identify operational inefficiencies Continuous business improvement initiatives Implementation of initiatives Essential applicant criteria: Min 1 year post-qualification experience as Industrial engineering in logistics / distribution network optimization environment, handling projects. Complete BEng / BSc in Ind Engineering (NDip / BTech not applicable) Own vehicle with a valid driver's license Able to travel around Gauteng and South Africa Able to work overtime (when required during project deadlines) *** My client will not consider applications from National Diploma / BTech degree holders.
