HEIDELBERG GROOTVADERSBOSCH – BRACKENHILLS LUX TENTS IN IN SOUTH AFRICA

Brackenhills tented camp site is set on Brackenhills farm, which is part of the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve. The tents are set in a forest, making it the ideal spot for birdwatching. Other activities include African Buffalo viewing and clay pigeon shooting. There are three luxury tents on the farm, Mountain View Tent, Redwing Cara Camp and Wattle Tree Tent. All of them are comfortably furnished and share a fully equipped kitchen and a braai area. This is an eco-estate and the tents use solar power instead of electricity. Rain water is used as a water supply. Brackenhills is located between Swellendam and Heidelberg. It is a three-hour drive from Cape Town. De Kloof Driving Range and Putting Green and the Kunstehuijs Fine Art Gallery are less than five minutes away from Swellendam. Montagu Hot Springs is just over 40-minute’s drive from Swellendam, ensuring that guests have plenty to do during their stay. Pet Friendly 4X4 is not essential, we have most makes of ordinary cars coming in here without a hitch, the only limitation is BMW and Audi which are very low. There are outdoor ablution facilities and a communal kitchen and braai area. It is a converted caravan with an en-suite bathroom. It has a queen-size bed and sleeps two guests.
