Minimum Requirements• ABET level 2 (Grade 7); • A minimum of 2 years appropriate experience. RecommendationExperience in the following: • Caring for dairy cows, sheep or otriches;• Milling, mixing and pelleting of feed; • Data collection and data capturing; • A valid code drivers' 08 licence. Key Performance Areas• General activities will entail the following: • Herd management; • Mixing of animal feed; • Research support; • General farm work; • Infrastructure maintenance; • Weekend and holiday duties. Competencies• Knowledge of sheep, dairy cows and ostriches (health treatments); • Ability to read and write; • Handle dairy cows, sheep and ostriches; • Ability to do phyiscal work such as loading/offloading of lucerne bales and feed bags. RemunerationR - R per annum (Salary level 2).
