ELECTRICIAN (QUEENSTOWN) IN SOUTH AFRICA

Electrician Fast growing FMCG Concern requires an Electrician in the Queenstown area. Salary: R 30 000 – R 40 000 per month Only South African citizens, who are suitably qualified, live in the applicable area and meet the requirements of the position are eligible to apply for this vacancy. You would require the following for this position: Matric/ Grade 12 certificate · N6 Qualified Artisan – Electrical · 6 Years’ experience in Bottling Industry · 5 Years Instrumentation experience o PLC, SCADA & HMI o Switchgear & VSD o Pneumatic & Hydraulic o Refrigeration · PET Blow Moulding, PET Injection Moulding experience would be an advantage · Instrumentation, Electronic & Electrical Skills · Competencies required include: o Fault Finding / Problem Solving and Decision Making o PET Injection & Stretch Blow Moulding Processing o Filling and Packaging knowledge o Electrical drawing / Pneumatic Drawing / Hydraulic Drawing o Maintenance Planning & Maintenance Records o Good verbal and written communication skills · Quality, Production, Maintenance, Raw Material, Spares and Packaging Stores and Finished Goods Warehouse · Operational Effectiveness · Preventive Maintenance experience · Health, Safety, Quality & Environment Valid code 8 driver’s license and own transport Documents required: · Updated CV · Copy of Most Recent Pay slip if employed · Copy of ID Document · Copies of Qualifications Your Duties will include (but not be limited to): · Adhere to quality, safety, health and environmental standards/criteria, policies and procedures · Maintain the line technology to a high level of efficiency, in order to deliver the required amount of product to the stipulated quality standards at the right time · Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on the line as required · Supervise and coach the line Apprentice / Operator · Process Formats on Blow Moulding and Injection Moulder · Complete all required documentation as per standard · Participate in team and shift handover meetings as and if required · Comply with housekeeping standards: ensure that work area and machinery is kept clean at all times, clean workshop area and machinery as required · Control the spares store You will need to reside in Queenstown or surrounding area.
