ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/ TECHNOLOGIST SUBSTATIONS (MSP) IN SOUTH AFRICA

Location  : Gauteng Salary    : 30k - 40k An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Manager/ Electrical Engineer/ Technologist to be based in Gauteng. Contract position. Key requirements: At least 5 years' experience in Leading a project team in delivering a solution to the client project agreement or contract At least 5 years' experience in Project management, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management If experience is less than 5 years - then at least a Project Management qualification Experience in the management of Electrical Construction Projects, preferably substations Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering Preferably a PMP/PRINCE2 type of qualification Experience in contracts management- FIDIC Contracts Good verbal and communication skills Excellent relationship management skills Flexibility in terms of travel (specifically - Africa travel), first assignment is out of the country Key abilities required: Able to be a good listener, follow up on suggestions by team members and generally get the best results out of the team Able to identify the potential problems of a project, find solutions and keep a cool head throughout Able to collaborate with demanding clients and make sure their project is delivered to their satisfaction Non-negotiable: Communication is key – person needs to be able to lead team members, formulate clear action plans and let all parties concerned know the progress of the project Great organisational and multi-tasking skills Should you be interested in this opportunity, please email your CV to .
