DYNAMIC DESIGN COMPANY LOOKING FOR NEW BUSINESS PROSPECTOR IN SOUTH AFRICA

A well established and highly creative Cape Town based product design agency is looking for a well spoken, hard working and committed individual to join their sales team. The company currently performs design work for a number of high profile local and international clients and the candidate will be responsible for prospecting for new clients in the USA.The role will involve performing web research from an existing database, identifying potential clients from this research, sending marketing materials and following up on initial contact including initial introduction calls prior to hand-over to senior management to then close.The role will require a person who has a strong work ethic, who is happy working in a team whilst delivering to set performance criteria, the candidate will need to be comfortable making prospecting calls and operating in a “sales type” environment.Any candidate must have prior outbound calling experience, this does not need to be in a “hard sales” environment but the candidate must be comfortable with call opening, icebreaking, developing rapport and sales scripting, typical of any telesales environment. Previous research experience is not critical as this function is very simple but will require a hard working attitude and a strong level of discipline and self motivation, in the understanding that the better the research the more leads and the better quality leads they will then call on.Candidates must have a neutral accent and be very well understood by english speakers, they must have an engaging phone manner and be able to develop a great “one on one” connection quickly, they must be trustworthy and ethical in how they present themselves. They must be prepared to learn, know their business and product 100% and thrive in a professional environment. I hard and ”boiler room” sales approach will not work !The role will involve a high level of incentives and commissions with a simple aim, to source sufficient contacts through research, to contact and introduce the company and it’s skills and ultimately result in new client accounts for the company. The target salary will be R per month which will include a portion of basic and commission earnings, however given the value of new business to the company lucrative bonuses will be structured for a strong performing candidate that could result in earnings up to R per month.Please only reply with a detailed CV We are looking forward to meet our next business development superstar !!
