Remuneration: Negotiable; Linked to Experience Location: Cape Town, CBD Job level: Mid to Senior Own transport required: No Travel requirement: Seldom Job policy: Equal Opportunity Type: Permanent (3-month probation period) Position: Campaign Manager – Display Advertising The client is looking for an internet savvy individual with sound knowledge of the digital advertising industry to join their energetic team in in Cape Town to fill the position of Campaign Manager. The main role of the campaign manager is to implement and optimize display advertising campaigns across various ad-serving platforms. They are responsible for campaign optimization, analysis and reporting and also act as a technical contact between account managers, clients and creative agencies. Campaign managers must therefore be able to communicate effectively and manage internal and external client expectations. Requirements: · Experience in online advertising or relevant qualification · An understanding of Facebook, Twitter and YouTube advertising campaigns (& ability to manage this via our partners) · An understanding of Google Adwords Display campaigns (& ability to manage this via our partners) · An understanding of Google Adwords Display best practises and optimization techniques · Working knowledge of and/or experience with Doubleclick Stack (DDM) · Excellent computer skills (MS Office essential - intermediate to advanced Excel) · Internet savvy · Highly organised with an eye for detail · Able to work accurately with numbers · Able to work on own initiative, prioritise workload and juggle multiple tasks · Excellent administrative, communication and time management skills · Good command of both written and verbal English · Minimum of 1 year digital/trafficking experience Advantageous: · A sound understanding of tracking technologies and implementation · A working knowledge of basic HTML, rich media, Flash, DART · Adobe Photoshop/design skills Personal Skills/Attributes: · Attention to detail · Able to work quickly, accurately and efficiently under pressure · Proactive and self-motivated · A team player · Enjoy working in a pressurised and fast-paced media sales environment · Willing to learn and integrate new advertising technologies and solutions If you feel that this position is fitted for you, send your CV to
