COMMODITY RESEARCH ANALYST – MASTERS DEGREE IN SOUTH AFRICA

Afriforesight, the largest independent commodity research house in Africa, is looking for ambitious, highly motivated analysts to join us in our quest to provide the business world with relevant, cutting research on commodities. We need a researcher with a passion for economics and for getting to the bottom of what makes global business tick. Your primary focus will be to study the market, with an emphasis on global demand and supply for mined commodities as well as industrial costs and materials. The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer and a very clear thinker who can translate complex ideas/analysis into simple language. You may also eventually be asked to present your findings to clients and be featured in our seminars and on TV. Minimum Requirement: A Master’s degree (MCom or MSc) An average of 70% in your final year or an additional 3 years of job experience A passion for business, the economic environment and have a good understanding of the unfolding of geopolitical events. Remuneration: Negotiable, dependent on your qualifications, skills and experience.
