All the 4 Sun City hotels are booked out that weekend of the 7th, as is Bakubung Lodge, and there are no other Sun City or Bakubung self catering units on offer for that week. It is peak, right in the middle of school holidays, so the rate reflects that. Add that the Kwa Maritane access roads to the Park is closed at the moment, so it makes sense staying at Bakubung.
