AUDIT MANAGER (PE, MAFIKENG AND POLOKWANE) IN EAST LONDON

A vacancy exists in EL, Mafikeng and Mafikeng at a national firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors for a Manager to commence duties as soon as possible. Main Responsibilities To assist with business development and revenue generation for the branch To provide a management role in the Accounting, Auditing and Advisory departments Responsibilities will include: Must have strong business development and revenue generation experience and skills Develop and maintain sound client relationships and identify potential new business opportunities Arrange business meetings with prospective clients Promote the Firms products/ services addressing or predicting clients objectives Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support Managing of client portfolios from beginning to end Planning, executing and reporting on assignments in accordance with required quality control standard; office policies and management guidelines, and within allocated timelines and budgets · Project Management · Staff planning · Manage and lead teams · Review the work of subordinates · Finalisation of working paper for Directors review · Assist in preparation of client proposals · Must have experience in assessing staff performance and staff development · Drafting of tender proposals Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience CA (SA) required SAICA articles completed at a South African auditing practice Internal audit experience in public sector will be advantageous At least 5 years’ experience at management level Must have strong experience in Public Sector across all spheres of government (national, provincial and local) In-depth knowledge of various legislative prescripts such as PFMA/ MFMA and SCM regulations Sound knowledge of the local market Caseware knowledge/ experience TeamMate knowledge/ experience Pastel knowledge/ experience Salary between R60 to R80k per month depending on experience.
