ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER – 5 STAR HOTEL – DURBAN IN SOUTH AFRICA
We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant manager to assist and be responsible for managing the Restaurant and assist in all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate needs to have previously worked within a Restaurant environment a minimum of a 4 Star grading. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee upliftment. Duties and Responsibilities · Identify and delegate responsibilities to staff to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved · Effectively manage the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager · Manage operations with passion, integrity, and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of the Hotel · Implement new company policies and procedures · Consistently review operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement · Provide coaching and feedback to managers and staff and assess performance on and ongoing basis · Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service · Assist in managing the restaurant to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness · Assist in new menu implementation · Assist in all areas of the restaurant Minimum Qualifications · Previous Experience in a Restaurant · Hotel School Diploma or Degree or equivalent · Must have reliable transportation · Ability to use POS System · Able to work in a fast paced environment · Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays Salary R14 000 per month live out Please send your CV to brightplacements@telkomsa.net If you do not hear from us within 14 days please consider your application as unsuccessful.
