AB INITIO DEVELOPER (ETL) IN SOUTH AFRICA

Our Client is in search of an Ab Initio Developer to design and Development Ab Initio component of a Customer Data Warehouse as well as the creation of Functional and Technical specifications as required in order to fulfil project deliveries. Experience with a Telecommunications environment is desirable. The candidate must be prepared to provide after-hours standby support. Key Areas of Responsibility · Interface with Technical Leads, Analysts and Developers to gather requirements. · Define data element requirements, including history, timeliness, and frequency of data. · Define volume and timing requirements. · Design the data staging and/or landing interface · Perform Data Mapping specifications · ETL tool design and implementation · Analysis of new system requirements and impact analysis · Map business rules and processes into technical solutions. · Ability to work with a technical team comprised of internal and external resources. · Ability to plan and organize development work and deliverables. · Willingness and ability to work under pressure. · Ability to work independently. Requirements · Matric and a Degree/Diploma · 2-4 years Ab Initio experience · ETL Design 3 years experience desirable · Participation in at least 1 major data warehouse project 2-4 years Forward a comprehensive CV to
