A silver coin with buckshot in a piece of conglomerate retrieved from the wreck of the Merenstein under difficult conditions by divers from The Atlantic Underwater Club in the early 's. The Merenstein (aka Merenstijien) was on its way to the Dutch East Indies with mixed cargo when it was wrecked off Jutten Island, Saldana Bay in April . The silver coin ( Silver Rider?) is rare and very collectable, as the coins were discontinued in Holland in the 's and were on there way for re-use in Java/Borneo, but one in a piece of conglomerate together with buckshot, makes it "a one of a kind", making it rarer and even more collectable. It came into my hands at an auction held by The Atlantic Underwater Club at the then President Hotel in about . The condition of the coin/buckshot/conglomerate is very good condition after being under the sea for about 270 years. Silver Coin & conglomerate. ditto Buckshot, conglomerate and silver coin ditto. The Silver Coin & Conglomerate.
