FIT OPERATIONS MANAGER IN SOUTH AFRICA

South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique...You name it!The Company is currently recruiting an FIT Operations Manager with duties including: • Quality control of proposals • Organisation and implementation of new products and strategy of the Company • Training new consultants • Regular one to one meetings with each team member • Relief support as/when required • Respect and development of the procedures • Team management • Feedback on operations • Submission of periodic reports.Assisting staff by applying skills and knowledge with regard to: o Geography: in-depth knowledge of all Southern African countries (region, suppliers, complex itineraries, seasons, animals) o File handling: a proprietary software program is used for creating itineraries, making reservations with suppliers and handling invoicing, profit and payment. o Communication skills: fully understand customers’ profiles and requirements and advise them on the best options according to their preferences and budget. o Team spirit: be self motivated but willing to work as part of the team according to XO's values.Perfect English is required. French language skills and previous working knowledge of Tourplan software are considered strong assets.
